✿ Prettia: Antique Rose - Review ✿

Hello, everyone! I'm back, finally with something to write!
A while ago my mother decided she wanted to dye her hair again,
and we chose the colour "Antique Rose" from Prettia ♪

The box was pretty beat up when we got it,
but that's honestly what I expected it to be, even my own
dye (shipped from California) was pretty decently
messed up when it arrived.

Anywho, the store we bought it from
can be located here →

It wasn't cheap, but I say it was worth the price.
This is my mothers' hair before dying-
Obviously, her roots are darker than the rest of her hair.
The virgin hair is a medium brown, and the rest is a light (dyed) brown.
Both indoor lighting with a flash on.

Next I'll show you the basic things inside the box,
pretty obvious things, but here you go, anyway:

The little orange booklet are the instructions,
the two bottles are the colour/mixers, the pink-ish packet is the hair conditioner,
the nozzle is what pushes out the foam, and the gloves are packed in to the little
container on the bottom right.
Now, time to get down to how to mix everything!
Surprisingly there are a lot of people who haven't understood foam dye,
and that are really confused by it, so please ask any questions.
Start off by pouring the little bottle
in to the bigger bottle.

The way the product looks, should be something
to this effect, foamy on top with colour on bottom.

After that, replace the white cap on the bottle tightly,
gently turn it up side down, and then right side up.
Do this between 5 or 7 times.

After it's mixed, it'll look more like this:

It will still look very liquid-like,
and this looked more like soda than it did hair colour.
But when you put the nozzle on it, and squeeze it,
it will be foam, I promise. 7 times at most is enough to mix it.

If you buy a dark colour the the foam should be dark too.
The first little bit might be white, but eventually it should be pretty
dark coloured (though light colours might stay white)

All I could think of how it looks like poo...
But none the less, it still covered really well. My mother has short, thin hair,
so  we were scrambling, not wanting to waste dye, piling it on to her head.
Eventually we got to where the dye was just staying on the gloves because there was
too much on her head, so we just had to give it up.

There was so much left, though, I felt bad about washing it away.

I'm pretty sure if you have medium length hair,
this will completely cover your hair in a nice foam.

Anyway, again this is my mother's hair before Prettia:

And this is her hair after Prettia indoors with & w/o flash:

and then, after Prettia outdoors:

I personally love the colour, and she does too!
Prettia left her hair feeling soft, and smelling good, too!
My mother hates her face being taken in pictures,
so I can't post any of those, but the pictures of her hair are good.

It looks brown indoors, but in light it looks really red/purple.
The instructions said to leave it on for 20~30 minutes,
but because my mother had half dyed hair, we left it on for an hour.

Simple rating system, more stars the better.

Price: ★★☆☆☆

"It's a bit expensive at about $18.00 per box"

Colour: ★★★★☆

"If it looked a bit more brown outdoors, it'd be perfect!"

Smell: ★★★☆☆

"It was a little strong, but it still smelled nice"

Condition: ★★★★★

"My hair's still so soft I can run my fingers through it no problem!"

She's said that she would recommend this, and plans
to buy it herself after her hair grows out again, as I bough her first bottle.

I hope this was informative and had enough photos!
Thank you for reading!

Make up & Lashes

A lot of things happened since I last posted~

Well, not really.

All the things I've ordered came in ages ago, and I really wanted post pictures of them...
But my PC got a virus, so my entire C: drive is gone... So no I'm on my dad's desktop, and he has Windows 98, so while I'm thankful for the computer, I'm doing nothing very quickly.

Anyways, I finally got pictures of everything I ordered, so I'll post pictures and review!

First up are the top & bottom lashes I ordered, but I can't review, because I forgot to buy the glue that I need to actually, you know.. Wear them.

The top lashes are "ethnic" or "ha-fu kei" by PA and the bottom is "cute", also by PA obviously.
Like I said, I can't review them... But I do have a picture of myself where I just stuck them on my eyes, and I already am in love with these lashes and can't wait to wear them.

By the way, I've also coloured my hair, haha, if you didn't notice it at all.....

Anywho, I really like the way they look an enhance my eyes.
Definitely comfortable without glue, so a 10/10 for now, I'll see next month once I have glue how I feel about them then.

Up next is my eyeliner!

I really do like this eye liner. It's very thin, so it's hard to make mistakes with it, such as getting a line too thick, or something. It's so thin, it's like a calligraphy blush! It's the liner I'm wearing in all pictures that I'm wearing in this blog post! I'm going with a 9/10 because it's pricey though.

Next, mascara!

This is not a lot of mascara for too much money, in my opinion... But at the same time, you're kind of paying for the cute packaging,  which is the main reason I've bought it at all.. It has purple ribbons and polkadots on it, and it's the cutest mascara I've ever seen. It's nice though, but for mascara I'm not sure what to say about it, since I'm no expert- one is just as good as another to me. 8/10

My favourite, lip concealer!

I was kind of hoping for a bit more 'like my skin colour' look, but this did just fine either way.
It hid a lot of the pinkish colour and made it look a lot more natural than it usually does, even though it is natural (my lips have a lot of pink colour in them).  This can be pricy, but I think it's worth it for pink lips! I don't know if this is available in darker tones, but this tone is  nude beige... I give this a nice 9.5/10, haha.

Now, about my hair colour.... My hair, I dyed it with Palty's "Ganache Tart".
Without any flash, my hair is a dark brown colour, like it's supposed to be.

But if you're in the sunlight, or if you take a picture with a flash, then it turns a red, because of my already red coloured hair, so the tones were underlying.

So it's kind of like a Juicy Peach colour instead... Red is a really nasty colour to get rid of, kind of like black, I guess... Oh, well. It's probably only a temporary colour anyways... Once things around my house settle, I'll probably try blonde again, or something. I have such a hair colour habit...

That last picture by the way, is my make up for today... I'm going with my dad to the VA's so I decided to dress my face up, haha~!

I also got some Japanese hair curlers too; I looove these. The curls you see in the pictures are all done by these little things! They work really well for $2.00 or so, they make me happy.

My hair hardly ever curls, so this is a wonderful item!

Anyways, here are further pictures of my look for today! If you can call it that, it was just ... Thrown together so quickly... So, oh well. I can't wait to buy clothes to complete everything, though!

Leaving you on the creepy note of my smiling face... Bye bye!

xoxo
